TV Show - Freshman 15
This website serves as the backend for developing an ongoing television show. Most of the functionality is located past the login screen. Upon request I can give you a demo user name to check it out.

In this campaign I was responsible for researching demographics and came up with a marketing campaign which consisted of figuring out the most trafficked areas of campus, and the places on campus with the highest concentration of majors interested in helping us. We narrowed the concentrated on film and digital media majors, theater majors, and community studies, the three departments with programs having to do with film, and we took a three pronged approach to getting additional members, we did a grass roots approach by asking members in the organization to ask everyone they knew, we collaborated with SCTV to help get more members from within their organization. We also talked to other organizations with similar interests, such as the film production coalition, I was solely in charge of marketing and personnel, and managed to get 50 people to contribute to the first episode. A number of people which exceeded the number of people involved with a single episode on the tv station by 500 percent.
Here are the different marketing strategies I employed during this project:
flyering - hand flyers and facebook flyers two of the most common places to find college students. We flyered near dinning halls, and near key areas of intrest
collaboration with other organizations - this was a key part of our marketing strategy, much more key than anticipated.
collaboration with appropriate school departments - we went through the school channels to connect with students, such as with the theater department, to get in touch with theater majors.
Website integration, I created a website, and used this along with myspace, to reach out to college students.
I also arranged to reach out with craig's list where we got one of our actresses.
